
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled SMT rework technician. With experience in Optical and x-ray inspection.
Requirements
 What you'll do Â
The successful candidate will: Â
Â
Performs complex rework such as removing and installing BGA’s, and Leadless Package using the BGA Rework StationÂ
Assist in developing and refining rework process with manufacturing engineersÂ
Assist with root cause analysisÂ
Perform basic functional testingÂ
Performs touch-up and rework on surface mount board assemblies.Â
Configures sub-assemblies to top assemblies on various productsÂ
AOI, Optical and x-ray inspection. Inspects boards for component/solder bridges, cold solder, wrong or reversed component.Â
Performs thru-hole surface mounts inspection.Â
Required to work overtime as needed.Â
Other duties may be assigned.Â

What would be useful Â
It would be useful and advantageous for the candidate to have: Â
2-year degree a plus or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
IPC-A-610 certification.Â
Â
Must Have Â
The successful candidate must have: Â
High School Diploma or EquivalentÂ
5+ years of SMT experience Â
SMT Soldering skills. Knowledge of polarity, color codes and valuesÂ
Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and processesÂ
Ability to perform rework needed such as removal of thru-hole and/or SMT components.Â
