Year after year, Canoga Perkins attends MWC Las Vegas to introduce the newest technology and industry findings, share its innovative mindset, and conduct conversations with ecosystem leaders who are ready to change the world. This year was the largest splash yet – with new insights and new developments, Mark Vena, CEO of SmartTech Research & Principal Analyst, named Canoga Perkins standout of the show.

Canoga Perkins showcased its newly launched transport solution and software companion – SyncMetra® and SyncMetra® Manager. Canoga eagerly discussed the most prominent topics of next generation networks:

  • Biggest Myth About Private 5G: Many still view it as a telco-only technology that's hard and expensive to deploy in enterprise environments. Truth: Modern private 5G is managed like familiar IT systems, enabling easy rollout for mission-critical apps with enhanced functionality—Canoga Perkins drives this convergence with partners.

  • Edge AI's Impact on Enterprise Architecture: Edge AI is a top enterprise need and driver of change. Best-in-class timing distribution/synchronization (via SyncMetra) is a critical but often overlooked essential for current operations and future advancements.

  • Mobile Assets & Robotics Trend: Not just a "mobile" trend but sensors, robots, and assets are becoming inherently mobile. We need massive modernization to compete and lead. Canoga Perkins shares they are prepared to deliver required connectivity and solutions.

  • “Wireless Wires" for Industry Use Cases: SyncMetra® enables use cases (robotic surgery, warehouse logistics, real-time tracking) by creating “wireless wires”—deterministic performance over private 5G through ecosystem collaboration. Canoga Perkins is ready: Fully prepared to power this transformation without being caught off guard.

Canoga Perkins sparked conversations with new and existing business partners and customers, and this year was featured in highly valued industry reports.

Conference Whispers Report: MWC Las Vegas by Dr. Doreen Galli, Chief of Research & Distinguished Analyst

Dr. Doreen Galli interviewed Canoga Perkins’ very own Chief of Staff VP of Strategic Implementation, Siddharth Khattar, on 3 hefty questions that has kept the industry on their toes. Siddharth Khattar shared with Dr. Galli on the biggest myth tech leaders still believe:

“What I see is that private 5G is still seen by many as a telco-only technology—something that is hard to roll out, something that is hard to administer across your enterprise networks and comes with enterprise environments and therefore comes with a lot of expense. It's always a technology for somebody else.

The truth is that today's private 5G networks can be administered and managed much more like IT and enterprise systems that CIOs and organizations are used to doing. Part of our mission here at Canoga Perkins is to work with our partners and ecosystem to bring together that convergence. This allows you to roll out private 5G for mission-critical applications that you haven't yet been able to, while still being able to administer and manage it as easily as you would your traditional IT networks today—with so much more functionality than what they deliver.” Khattar also covered how enterprise architecture will change due to edge AI, “Edge AI really is one of the biggest needs of the enterprise and one of the biggest drivers of change across enterprise architecture today.

Tomorrow's enterprise assets are going to be intelligent, mobile, and will need to operate in concert—synchronously—with so many other assets that exist today.

Thereby, we need best-in-class timing distribution and synchronization. That's not something a lot of people talk about, but it's actually impossible to synchronize and operate in concert without that level of timing distribution. And that's one of the key features that we bring to market [with SyncMetra®.]

I also really believe that it's a need people aren't talking about. It's at the basis of a lot of these advancements, and we need to be talking about it and making that a reality.”

Another important subject that was addressed was how Canoga Perkins will not be taken by surprised by a certain mobile tech trend, “It is not so much a mobile trend that I see as the fact that so many of the assets, and so many of our sensors, and everything we want to work with are actually going to be mobile.

We talk about robotics so much, and in countries like Asai, they're already discussing robot densities of over 500+ per 10,000 manufacturing workers in China. In the U.S. and Europe, we're far behind—closer to 300+ to 350. What does this mean? To stay competitive, and to lead and overtake the competition, we need massive investment and modernization to bring these advanced assets into our manufacturing and operating environments.

I think this is a trend not enough people are focusing on or talking about—and it’s going to take a lot of people by surprise. But I don’t believe we’re a company [Canoga Perkins] that will be caught off guard. We’re ready to provide the connectivity and solutions that will be required.”

SmartTech Check Moment - 2025 Mobile World Congress Highlights by Mark Vena, CEO of SmartTech Research & Principal Analyst

Mark Vena also interviewed Siddharth Khattar on Canoga Perkins’ industry and world changing goal. Khattar gives an insight on why SyncMetra® will power the next generation of time sensitive and mission critical solutions, “What we are doing with SyncMetra® is bringing ultra-low latency and features like deterministic networking to life.

Now a lot of people may have questions about what deterministic networking is, determinism is exactly what the word implies there. The ability to know, understand, and control when and how quickly your information gets from point A to point B and to have that be reliable and repeatable no matter what. That's what we deliver. Why is it important? In the context of all types of networking applications, both wired and wireless, truly one of the things that holds back the ability to bring these latest technologies to market and to be able to monetize on them, which is so important—whether it's applications like robotics, whether it is applications like tracking or even robotic surgery, warehouse and logistics. Those are areas where we've been constrained. The industry has been constrained because we live in a world today where those applications either are wired or if they live in the Wi-Fi domain, they're not as reliable.

We bring that to life and make that possible again with both wired as well as wireless networks in the realm of private 5G, working with a number of ecosystem partners for instance and making sure that we can get to a point where we can actually create wireless wires.”

Analyst Report Summary
