Network Interface Devices

The advanced, feature rich Network Interface Device (NID) product line was introduced in 2003, with the launch of the ground-breaking 9145 NID. The 9145E NID has continuously evolved and spawned a comprehensive family of NID products, supporting the most advanced Carrier Ethernet Networks operating today.

The 9145E Family of Carrier Ethernet Network Interface Devices (NIDs) consists of a Single User Network Interface (UNI) NIDs and a Multi UNI NIDs. There are four Single UNI NIDs models in the Family and two Multi UNI NIDs models. All products in the 9145E family share the same baseline architecture and a common feature set. This simplifies the provisioning for your network and reduces training time and requirements, translating to lower costs, reduced restoration and installation times, increased customer satisfaction and retention.
