Canoga Perkins has officially launched its first international Private 5G Customer Experience Center at the BLOQUE Innovation Hub in Querétaro, Mexico. This is a major step in expanding deterministic networking technology into fast‑growing industrial regions and across the globe.

On January 16, 2026, around 80 attendees – from industry leaders, government officials, system integrators, and technology partners gathered for “Experiencing SyncMetra®”, where the Canoga Perkins team showcased the SyncMetra® 100 platform and a complete end‑to‑end Private 5G solution.

The event started off with a brief presentation on the history of Wireless Innovation presented by Stephen Di Franco, a Canoga Perkins Board Member. His presentation was followed by a Canoga Perkins’ Sid Khattar, Chief of Staff and VP of Strategic Implementation, where he presented “SyncMetra®: Deterministic Private 5G Networks.” Sid highlighted why Best Effort Networks are no longer cutting it, and how there are large business opportunities for various industries when adopting Private 5G. Sid Khattar also showcased the SyncMetra Platform by sharing a demo of SyncMetra Manager and the working SyncMetra 100. Following Khattar, the audience was captivated by a “Ultra Reliable Robotic Control via Private 5G” live demonstration presented by Nestor Orjuela, Canoga Perkins Solutions Architect.

The liveliness was unmatched – attendees arrived with high energy, engaged in various questions around business opportunity, technical conversations and what it means for businesses in Mexico to adopt Private 5G.

Why Querétaro?

Querétaro is rapidly becoming a center for advanced manufacturing, smart agriculture, and industrial automation. With that growth comes increased demand for reliable, high‑speed, ultra‑low latency connectivity — exactly what the SyncMetra® platform is designed to provide.

“BLOQUE is not just a building, it seeks to become a unique technology ecosystem in Mexico, with the purpose of turning Querétaro into a hub for digital technology in Latin America” writes Jesus Reynoso in his article about the BLOQUE.

Demonstrating Deterministic Private 5G

At the event, Canoga Perkins demonstrated an industrial robotic arm running in real time over a Private 5G Ultra‑Low Latency Network supported by SyncMetra. Unlike traditional wireless, SyncMetra® is built to support Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), enabling precision control for robotics, automation, and other mission‑critical applications.

It was a clear proof point that deterministic 5G isn’t just a future concept — it’s ready for deployment today.

“Bringing SyncMetra to Mexico is a major milestone for us,” said Malik Arshad, President of Canoga Perkins. “Deterministic networking removes the barriers to digital transformation for the most critical industrial applications. The BLOQUE is the perfect place to showcase how these technologies are ready now.”

Looking Ahead

With the BLOQUE deployment live, Canoga Perkins is expanding collaboration across Latin America — helping organizations adopt automation, robotics, and AI with the reliability deterministic Private 5G provides.
